DBS Applications
Targeted Provision can process an Enhanced DBS application for you via our partner, UCheck and, UCheck's fee for an enhanced DBS check is £56.20
Please note Targeted Provision does not take any additional fees for this service and the above full payment for the DBS check goes directly to the provider, UCheck.
It is our policy that DBS applications are only processed for tutors that have passed interview with us. If you want to apply and have extenuating circumstances, please contact us before applying.

4 Steps
1. DBS INFORMATION FORM
Please complete the DBS Information Form accessed via the ‘Get Started’ button at the bottom of this page to provide us with the information and documentation UCheck will require from us to begin your application. The team will review this form and then let you know if there are any problems with the documents you have submitted.
2. COMPLETE YOUR UCHECK APPLICATION ONLINE
You will be sent a link by UCheck to directly provide them with some further information and to pay for your DBS.
The UCheck fee is £56.20
3a. COMPLETE DIGITAL VERIFICATION OF YOUR DOCUMENTS WITH YOTI APP (RECOMMENDED)
If you have a current and valid passport and driving license, you can submit your documents to be verified digitally. You can do this by downloading the YOTI app and uploading your documents. For more information on YOTI and how to download it, please visit YOTI's website. UCheck will also explain the process in their step by step guide. We recommend this route for all applicants as it is the cheapest and most efficient way to process your DBS application.
Please note, there are three steps involved in the digital ID check.
Step 1: Download the app
Step 2: Upload the correct supporting documents in line with the guidance provided from UCheck. Please ensure these are the same documents that were submitted as part of your DBS application as uploading the wrong documents may result in the ID check failing.
Step 3: In order to finalise the check, you must scan the QR code (included in the email sent from UCheck).

3b. SEND POST OFFICE CERTIFIED COPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS TO US
If you do not have a current and valid passport and driving license, we will need to verify the scans/photos of the supporting documents you have submitted via the DBS Information Form.
To do this, please send post office certified copies of your documents to us at Recruitment Team, Targeted Provision HR, PO Box 1458, Cheltenham, GL50 9UR. Details of this post office certification process and the related fees can be found here.
Please note that unfortunately due to Crown copyright regulations Birth & Marriage certificates cannot be certified at the post office so you will be unable to use these documents for your DBS application. We will require these documents to complete the ID check for your DBS.
4. DBS PROCESSING
Once your information has been submitted, documents verified, and application paid for, UCheck will begin to process your DBS.
The process takes between 24 hours and 5 days (for 85% of applicants) to complete, after which time you will receive your certification in the post.
Please note, we will only receive an electronic copy of your DBS and so you must submit a scan of your original document once you have received it in order for us to make your application with us fully compliant.
