ESOL / EAL Tutor and Teacher role requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years online teaching experience, ideally working with vulnerable non-English speaking students in a holistic and trauma-informed way
- Subjects: EAL / ESL / ESOL / EFL
- Qualifications: Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g. CELTA, TEFL, TESOL)
- Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
- Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs
- Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
The ESOL / EAL Tutor and Teacher role and responsibilities:
- Provide in person, online / remote, and hybrid EAL / ESOL tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
- Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
- Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress

ESOL / EAL Tutor and Teacher employment status:
- This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, via temporary and fixed term contracts as and when they arise
- You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE
- This is not a self-employed tutoring / self-employed teaching position
